Methodology

How guides are researched, tested and kept current.

  • Research: official product pages, help centers and pricing pages first, then credible independent writeups and real user stories (linked).
  • Testing: where possible we test setup steps hands-on. Each guide is labeled “Tested” or “Researched”.
  • What we check: does it do the job for a non-technical person in about 10 minutes? Is there a free tier? What does it really cost? What data does it touch? What breaks?
  • Freshness: prices show the date checked. Guides are re-verified at least every 90 days, sooner when a tool changes.
  • Corrections: errors are fixed and logged on the failures page.
